This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I'm proud to have finally entered an art community to engage with other artists. My name is Jonathan Cajepe, I have been a fan of deviant art and have been watching many deviants grow to become master artists. I love art and have been drawing since I could hold a pen, pencil or whatever my hands could draw with. Inspired by Graham Base and his Animalia books my dream was to one day become an illustrator.
However, I, like many art enthusiasts have questioned the thought, can I really make it in this world as an artist? Well for many years now I have doubted my knack for drawing and passion for art, working everyday left me drained to do any sketching or painting and slowly but surely I was being sucked into what felt like a life sucking abyss (Working for the money isn't so great if your not doing what you love). With 2012 ending I arrived at an ultimatum; either forever live a life of mediocrity (my way of saying, just working for the money) or take a risk, trust in my art and make something of it (which could lead to a fun and exciting journey).
I picked the latter of the two and although I'm not sure where to begin, but to immerse myself in a pool of inspiration, creativity and a like-minded community sounds like the best place to start. I know that here is where I can nurture my skills, learn from other creatives and most importantly grow as a person.
So to my fellow creatives and deviants, welcome to a 2013 may this year be a fun and exciting new journey ahead.
